Medication used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), pelvic inflammatory disease (infection of the female reproductive organs that may cause infertility), meningitis (infection of the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord), and infections of the lungs, ears, skin, urinary tract, blood, bones, joints, and abdomen.

Used to treat methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

Used to treat infections, most commonly bone infections.

Used to treat infections as well as prevent infections following colon and rectal surgery.

Used to treat various infections, including certain types of vaginal infections. It can also treat skin redness and pimples caused by rosacea.

Used to treat infections such as Pneumonia, Kidney infection, Prostatitis, Chlamydia, Epididymitis, Bronchiectasis, Sinusitis, Urethritis, Urinary tract infection.

Used to treat serious Gram-positive bacterial infections.

Used to treat infections such as C. Diff. Colitis, Staph aureus and Cellulitis.

Used to treat patients with HABP/VABP and cSSSI due to Staph aureus.

Used for the treatment of complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAI) caused by susceptible microorganisms: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Citrobacter freundii, Enterobacter cloacae, Klebsiella oxytoca, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus anginosus group, Clostridium perfringens, Bacteroides species, and Parabacteroides distasonis in patients 18 years or older.
